Office for Industrial Enterprises

The Office for Industrial Enterprises (AIB) is responsible for the operation, maintenance and planning of important wastewater and waste management plants. With around 70 employees, the AIB manages 26 wastewater treatment plants, around 175 kilometres of sewers and two landfills. In addition, the Office is involved in three other wastewater treatment plants. Through the reliable operation of these facilities, the AIB makes an important contribution to the protection of water bodies and the sustainable use of natural resources. In addition to the treatment of wastewater, the Office is also committed to the environmentally sound treatment and recycling of recyclable materials. With its daily commitment, the AIB contributes significantly to environmental protection and the quality of life in the canton of Basel-Landschaft.
