Main responsibilities
- Conducting a doctoral project (research)
- conducting courses of 2 SWS per semester (lecture is usually German)
- consulting and supervision of bachelor's theses participating in the chair's activities
- supporting the chair's organisation of events and research activities as well as taking on administrative tasks.
- Requirements: Excellent degree (M.A.) in art history, excellent language skills in English and French/Spanish.
- A precise, sophisticated, high-quality project, especially in the area of transcontinal cross-linking history in the 20th and 21st centuries, qualifies you for this position.
- The remuneration is based on cantonal guidelines.
- The employment is initially limited to three years and is then extended by a maximum of three years.
- For further qualification with a project in the field of postcolonial issues in art history, the chair offers support and an international environment.
