- You make an active contribution to the Daily Business and take responsibility in ongoing projects from day one
- The first assignment takes place in the Engineering Hydroenergy & Biomass Department, where you can... - ... contributes to projects of ecological refurbishment of hydroelectric power plants and develops a tool for the ecological optimization of refurbishment measures with Python, - ... verdicts on the impact of climate change on water availability for hydropower use and for the drainage conditions in terms of fish migration, - ... contributes to environmental impact assessments in development projects - ...and much more!
- You can select the second and third assignment according to your preferences within Axpo Group, for example in Sustainability, Wind Energy Division, Solar Energy Division or even our subsidiary CKW. Profile & abilities:
- Master's degree 🎓 in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science (Disclosure within the last two years)
- Wide environmental expertise with focus on energy systems (water power, biomass, wind, solar)
- Knowledge of water management, hydrology and water ecology
- Experience with data analysis and quantitative methods
- Good programming knowledge (Python, Matlab)
