Several years of professional experience in surface engineering in the field of paint and/or powder coating

Training as a paint technologist is advantageous

Main responsibilities

  • Specification of paint systems, supplier selection, development support
  • Acceptance on and in the vehicle and care during the warranty period
  • Performing the procedure and performing damage analysis by evaluating solutions
  • Cross-divisional cooperation with other departments (e.g. production, purchasing, project management, approval, surface technology) and contact point for questions from the field
  • Responsibility for the support of our suppliers and customers in relation to technical issues
  • Support of our production during evaluation and first use of new products
  • Exchange of know-how with other specialists in their field of expertise
  • Assistance in the planning and implementation of supplier audits, support and initial sample tests
  • Performing and defining damage analyses by means of evaluations of structural and surface defects as well as specifications for repair
