As a Senior Key Account Manager, you take responsibility for a strategically important customer in the field of Swiss energy infrastructure.
They operate in a challenging, technically shaped environment and work closely with internal specialist areas to develop sustainable solutions and long-term partnerships.
The focus of this role is on the customer's operational and strategic support, including the active management of tenders and tender processes.

- Total responsibility for a strategic key account in the field of network infrastructure (order intake, profitability, customer satisfaction)
- Establishment and maintenance of long-term, resilient relationships with relevant customer stakeholders at all hierarchical levels including C levels
- Complete university studies in engineering or comparable qualifications Additional management skills desirable
- Long-term experience in key account management or the distribution of complex technical solutions, ideally in the fields of energy generation, transmission and distribution networks, energy supply companies or data centers
Main responsibilities
- Total responsibility for a strategic key account in the field of network infrastructure (order intake, profitability, customer satisfaction)
- Establishment and maintenance of long-term, resilient relationships with relevant customer stakeholders at all hierarchical levels including C levels
- Ensuring a consistent, professional performance by Hitachi Energy against a central player of the Swiss energy supply
- Active cooperation and professional management of local tenders (Tenders) – from the tender strategy to the negotiation phase to the conclusion of the contract
- Development and implementation of a customer-specific account and growth strategy (market positioning, pipeline, forecast, competitive environment)
- Close cooperation with internal business units and functions (sales, engineering, project management, service etc.) for optimal solution and offer design
Key requirements
- Complete university studies in engineering or comparable qualifications Additional management skills desirable
- Long-term experience in key account management or the distribution of complex technical solutions, ideally in the fields of energy generation, transmission and distribution networks, energy supply companies or data centers
- Knowledge of Hitachi Energy's product portfolio is desirable - proven experience in the management of complex customer relationships and in the development and implementation of sales strategies
- In the exploratory manoeuvring in the structures of a large group and market leader
- Found experience in the processing and management of complex alerts
- Ability to work operationally detailed and to perform safely at top management level
- Very good knowledge of popular sales, CRM and office tools
- Key role in a central player in the Swiss energy infrastructure
- High design space with direct influence on business relationship and market success
