Together with the senior department, the management and other management bodies, they advise on operational resilience, continuity risks and relevant regulatory and professional developments.
They coordinate BCM activities at the interfaces to risk management, crisis and emergency management, ICT, information security, data protection, facility management, medical technology, quality management, occupational safety and other relevant departments.
They establish a hospital-wide network of BCM managers and contact persons, coordinate this and continuously develop cooperation.
They establish meaningful key figures and reporting, create transparency about risks, measures and BCM maturity and report regularly to the responsible management bodies.
They plan and coordinate assessments, reviews, tests and audits, accompany internal and external audits and ensure traceable documentation and verification.
They manage the BCM division professionally and organisationally and are responsible for annual planning, priorities, resources, budget and capacities.
