Actively shape the operational resilience of the Cantonal Hospital Baden. As responsible Business Continuity Management, you assume overall responsibility for Business Continuity Management (BCM) at the Cantonal Hospital Baden. They develop the BCM strategically and operationally, establish clear structures and standards and ensure uniform implementation throughout the hospital. In this central function, you advise the management and other management bodies together with the supervisor, coordinate the relevant departments and create the conditions for reliably maintaining or quickly restoring critical services even in the event of serious disruptions. The position shall be filled immediately or by agreement.

Their tasks

• You have overall responsibility for the establishment, implementation, operation, monitoring and continuous development of hospital-wide business continuity management.
• They develop the BCM strategy and derive binding guidelines, standards, processes and measures for the entire hospital.
• They design and maintain BCM policies, policies and governance and define clear roles, responsibilities, competencies and escalation paths.
• They establish a uniform BCM methodology across clinics, institutes, departments and support areas and ensure their sustainable application.
• Together with the senior department, the management and other management bodies, they advise on operational resilience, continuity risks and relevant regulatory and professional developments.
• They coordinate BCM activities at the interfaces to risk management, crisis and emergency management, ICT, information security, data protection, facility management, medical technology, quality management, occupational safety and other relevant departments.
• They build up a hospital-wide network of BCM managers and contact persons, coordinate this and continuously develop cooperation.
• They establish meaningful key figures and reporting, create transparency about risks, measures and BCM maturity and report regularly to the responsible management bodies.
• They plan and coordinate assessments, reviews, tests and audits, accompany internal and external audits and ensure traceable documentation and verification.
• They manage the BCM division professionally and organizationally and are responsible for annual planning, priorities, resources, budget and capacities.

Your profile

• They have higher education in business continuity management, risk management, crisis management, security or a comparable field of expertise.
• They bring in-depth practical experience in setting up, implementing and further developing business continuity management – ideally in a complex, regulated or critical supply environment.
• They are familiar with the regulatory, legal and normative requirements relevant to BCM and can classify and implement their significance for a hospital in a practice-oriented manner.
• They have a strong understanding of the interfaces to risk management, crisis and emergency management, ICT, information security, data protection and other relevant areas of expertise.
• They think strategically and networked, work in a structured and analytical way and combine conceptual strength with pragmatic implementation competence.
• They are accustomed to controlling cross-divisional topics, bringing together different interests and achieving bindingness and impact even without direct line responsibility.
• They have pronounced communication and consulting skills and move safely in exchange with management, managers and specialists.
• They set clear priorities, assume responsibility and drive issues forward independently and consistently.
• They understand how to build sustainable networks and promote open, solution-oriented and cross-sectoral cooperation.
