At the Cantonal Hospital of Baden, the use is constantly changing: stations are moving, rooms are being reused, divided or refurbished – on Campus Baden with the new building opened in 2025 as well as at our locations in the region. You represent the interests of the client, keep an eye on deadlines, costs and quality and understand how sensitive construction is in the hospital. In the real estate and building management department of the cantonal hospital in Baden, you plan, control and control the construction process and lead safely through a complex environment. The position is available immediately or by agreement.

Their tasks

• You manage conversions, conversions, castles and repairs in the interior – from inventory to cost estimate, tendering and offer comparison to acceptance and transfer to the company.
• As a local construction manager, you lead the execution: You coordinate entrepreneurs, our own craftsmen and the building technology, lead construction meetings and keep costs, deadlines and quality under control.
• You build where patients are treated: You plan protective measures against dust and noise, implement the requirements of hospital hygiene and fire protection and coordinate closures and shutdowns with the company.
• You check the extent, government reports, supplements and invoices and prepare assignments and acceptances for the department management.
• You provide complete documentation: revision plans, asset lists and room data can be tracked according to our specifications – also in Revit.
• You recognize early when a project gets bigger than expected – for example, in the case of interventions in the structure, in the case of suspected pollutants or mandatory approval – and report it so that it is managed correctly.
• You know our buildings on site and provide condition assessments and suggestions for the long-term planning of the properties.

Your profile

• You have a basic craftsmanship and an additional training as a dipl. Construction manager or equivalent qualification
• You can draw and customize plans in industry-standard programs or feel like learning.
• You have experience in managing and implementing construction projects.
• You know SIA standards and construction project management.
• You are interested in hospital processes and their effects on construction and operation
• You have a high level of initiative, independent working methods and a quick understanding.
• You have negotiation skills as well as a service-oriented and customer-friendly appearance.
• You work structured, make clear decisions and enforce them.
• You communicate securely with internal stakeholders, authorities and external partners.
• You are interested in sustainable construction concepts as well as digitalization topics such as BIM or CAFM.
