About the position As a production supervisor, you take over the management of the production staff and the special functions within your shift. You plan and control production processes, coordinate cooperation with internal support units and ensure smooth, safe and high-quality production operations. You combine leadership skills with technical understanding and a solution-oriented way of working.

- Management of production personnel and special functions such as quality operators, maintenance operators and production technicians within the shift as well as planning of short- and medium-term personnel deployment
- Planning, organization and control of production during the own shift as well as forecasting the expected production volumes for the subsequent shifts
- Ensuring qualified shift transfer and transparent communication of the current production status
- Ensuring the quality of work and workflows in accordance with applicable regulations and processes as well as operation of relevant control systems and ERP systems
- Coordination and prioritization of all production security measures in cooperation with CIP team, maintenance, quality, factory IT, logistics as well as process & product engineering and initiation of necessary escalation measures
- Organisation and implementation of internal training, training and team meetings for continuous qualification of shift workers
- Actively promote continuous improvement measures such as CIP and 6S as well as ensuring occupational safety, environmental protection, cleanliness and order in production
- Active participation in the production processes and promotion of efficient, team-oriented cooperation within the shift
You bring that with you
- Completed basic technical training with many years of proven leadership experience as shift manager in a technical environment or HF degree in the technical environment with first leadership experience as shift manager
- Many years of proven experience in shift work
- Enjoyment of leadership and cooperation in an intercultural environment with employees of different qualification levels
- Strong communication and social skills as well as the ability to convey information clearly and comprehensibly to different interlocutors and qualification levels
- Technical understanding and a structured, solution-oriented way of working in a dynamic production environment
- Very good German and English skills
