• Accompaniment and promotion of pupils with special needs in everyday school lifeStrengthening self- and social skills through targeted funding measures.

• Advising teachers and guardians on school and socio-pedagogical issues.

• Preparation, implementation and evaluation of individual funding plans as well as documentation of the development.

• Promoting the integration and participation of pupils with special needs and shaping a positive learning and development climate.

Requirements

• Qualification: Completed studies (bachelor) in social work, social education or a comparable education.

• Personality: High psychological and emotional resilience as well as a solution-oriented way of thinking and acting.

• Social Competence: Strong team and communication skills for close collaboration in an interdisciplinary environment.

• Competence: Organizational and planning competence as well as a constructive approach to resistance and aggression.

Binningen is an attractive suburban community of Basel with over 15,000 inhabitants. At the primary level, around 1,200 pupils are taught and supported at five school locations with 15 kindergartens by about 160 teachers and specialists. The primary level has rule classes, integration classes, small and introductory classes and a foreign language class.
