The population is at the heart of the activities of the Department of Health and Social Affairs. For the safety of their areas of life, we work sustainably and purposefully. The Cantonal Social Service is responsible for public welfare, asylum and refugee services and victim counselling and victim assistance. He is an appeal body in the field of social assistance and supports communities in the implementation of their family and age policies.
