Role overview
As our Group CO₂ Specialist , you will help shape how the Liebherr Group measures, manages, and advances its climate ambitions.
In this hands-on, cross-functional role, you will strengthen our decarbonization efforts, improve emissions data quality and governance, and translate strategic CO2 goals into operational reality across 13 product segments.

- In this hands-on, cross-functional role, you will strengthen our decarbonization efforts, improve emissions data quality and governance, and translate strategic CO2 goals into operational reality across 13 product segments.
- Group-Level CO₂ Measurement & Reporting
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement Group-wide CO₂ accounting and reporting processes.
Main responsibilities
- Group-Level CO₂ Measurement & Reporting
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement Group-wide CO₂ accounting and reporting processes.
- Help ensure alignment with key reporting frameworks such as CSRD, Greenhouse Gas Protocol, and other relevant standards.
- Contribute to the consolidation of emissions data across all product segments, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness.
- Support the reporting of climate-related disclosures for annual and sustainability reports. 2. CO₂ Governance & Strategy
- Help define, implement, and oversee the Group’s CO₂ governance framework, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making structures.
- Support the integration of CO₂ considerations into business planning, product development, and operational processes.
- Support Group-wide decarbonisation initiatives, including target-setting, technical assessments, and roadmap development.
- Evaluate, propose, and help implement CO₂ reduction opportunities across the value chain.
- Monitor progress against Group targets and help track the effectiveness of initiatives. 3.
