Exciting tasks await

• Triage of incoming prisoners and check whether a detention capacity test is necessary and medical interviews
• Independent conduct of consultation hours for prisoners to ensure basic medical care including diagnostic examinations (clinical examinations, laboratory examinations, electrocardiogram, ultrasound examinations, etc.)
• Interpretation of diagnostic results, derivation and implementation of medical care and therapeutic measures
• Obtaining (special) medical assessments by means of telepresence / healthpresence (video conferencing with doctors)
• Administrative tasks, ordering, directing and delivering medicines

What you bring

• Completion as a dipl. Nursing specialist HF as well as completed further education (NDS intensive care or emergency care HF or similar)
• Several years of professional experience in acute medicine
• Independent working methods and resilience and decision-making strength in emergency interventions
• Good user knowledge in MS Office, oral foreign language skills are beneficial
• Driving licence Cat. B, impeccable reputation (current extract from the penal and enforcement register), willingness to work shifts with changing days off work

Your working environment

The Lenzburg Prison provides care for persons who have been sentenced to imprisonment or to a custodial measure. The offer includes 380 prison places for closed prison, pre-trial detention and short sentences.

The Central Prison of the Lenzburg Prison is further expanding its offer and creating a specialized entrance department, which will handle all cantonal detention entries around the clock. In order to ensure medical care during the entry process, a specialized health service is set up, which plays a central role in the initial health assessment and support of the admitted persons.
