Exciting tasks await

• They lead interdisciplinary, interdepartmental projects and produce reports and presentations for the state clerk and the government council.
• They develop the cantonal long-term planning (development model of the Government Council) and accompany their implementation in cooperation with the departments.
• They examine strategic activities of the departments in the co-reporting procedure.
• They develop opinions on selected parliamentary initiatives of the Grand Council and on consultations of the Federation.
• They comment, in cooperation with the departments, on the maintenance or depreciation of unfinished parliamentary initiatives.

What you bring

• You have completed a university master’s degree and have worked for at least five years in a comparable function in public administration.
• They are interested in economic, social and environmental future issues and specifically in Aargau politics.
• They think strategically, work structured and precise.
• They appreciate the cooperation in the team, but also the independent concept and project work.
• They express themselves in writing and verbally stylish and addressable, have a high willingness to provide services and want to engage in the long term.

The State Chancellery supports and advises the General Government Council. It plans, organises and coordinates the government processes comprehensively, i.e. taking into account all operational, communicative, legal and strategic issues.
