Exciting tasks await

• General education (ABU) according to school and framework curriculum in basic education for the apprenticeship professions: gardener EBA, kitchen employee EBA, painter practitioner EBA, mason EBA, metal construction practitioner EBA, carpenter practitioner EBA, maintenance practitioner EBA
• Self-responsible design of general education in the learning areas of society and language/communication
• Writing school reports for location determinations
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with residential groups, training companies and therapy

What you bring

• Diploma as a secondary level vocational teacher for ABU or in equivalent training; alternatively teaching diploma of upper secondary level I or university degree in an ABU-relevant subject
• Experience in individualized teaching in heterogeneous classes
• High social and methodological competence as well as pleasure and motivation in dealing with young people
• Ability to deal with behavioural and antisocial adolescents
• Empathetic, reliable, flexible, resilient and responsible personality

Your working environment

The Jugendheim Aarburg is an institution for the execution of civil and juvenile criminal law measures. It includes male adolescents and young adults who are at risk in their development. With pedagogical and therapeutic measures, the employees support the clients in integrating themselves into the social order. In addition, specific educational and professional opportunities provide a basis for young people and young adults to prepare for a self-responsible, tort-free life.

For our internal vocational school we are looking for 1. February 2027 or by appointment a teacher who teaches our four EBA classes with 3 to 5 adolescents in general education. The fee of 65% can be paid on two days (Monday and Tuesday).
