Pain therapy means more than relieving pain.

With expertise, empathy and a holistic view, you accompany patients in a challenging phase of life. Together with an interprofessional team, you will contribute to effectively treating pain and sustainably improving the quality of life.

Their tasks

• You accompany patients with acute, chronic or tumor-related pain as well as their relatives in different treatment and living situations.
• The daily pain visit, the documentation of your assessments and the creation of consils in the KISIM are part of your daily work.
• Working closely with the anesthesia team and the medical director of pain management is an important part of your daily work.
• Your tasks are not just clinical. With your expertise, you are also involved in the transfer of knowledge and carry out internal further training as well as short training courses.

Your profile

• You have a diploma as a nurse HF/FH (for foreign diploma with SRK recognition) as well as a postgraduate degree NDS HF in anesthesia, intensive care or emergency care.
• Ideally, you already have experience in the pain service, recovery room or on an IMC.
• Responsibility, independence and a structured way of working distinguish you. Even in a dynamic environment, you keep an overview.
• You work interprofessionally, can familiarize yourself with new topics, recognize problems and respond to different people.
