Our creative, humorous and well-rehearsed team is looking for you as an immediately or by agreement The Psychiatric Services Aargau AG (PDAG) is responsible for the high-quality medical, therapeutic and nursing treatment and care of mentally ill people in the Canton of Aargau. Over the area
The Center for Developmental and Neuropsychiatry (Stefanie Nil and Tabea Blatter) is part of the Clinic for Consiliary, Aging and Neuropsychiatry (Clinical Director Dr. med. Rafael Meyer). It offers a unique range of information and treatment for people with intellectual developmental disorder (mental disability) and mental illness throughout Switzerland. In addition to a neuropsychiatric outpatient centre, the centre has an interdisciplinary investigation centre, a consultancy and liaison service for facilities for people with intellectual developmental disabilities, and a specialized station that meets the latest scientific knowledge and quality standards in terms of facilities and treatment concept.
Tasks
- Inpatient acute care of people with an intellectual developmental disorder with various psychiatric conditions in close cooperation with the highly qualified interdisciplinary team
- They share responsibility for the implementation of therapeutic and educational measures
- They carry shift responsibility at night duty
- Thanks to early planning, you have the opportunity to plan your free time and work assignments at night in advance.
Profile
- Completed training as a nurse HF / nurse HF, beneficial with experience in psychiatry, acute geriatrics, acute medicine or with people with intellectual developmental disabilities
- Willingness and interest to become familiar with a highly specialized treatment concept and to further develop it
- Strong personality with strong social and self-competence, as well as enjoyment of complex challenges
