• Road construction specialist : You carry out construction and surface work on the cantonal roads precisely and thus contribute to the smooth infrastructure
• Machine professional at the wheel: You drive vehicles (CE) with a safe hand and are responsible for the maintenance and perfect condition of the machines and equipment entrusted to you. A new Volvo truck and a new electric wiper are waiting for a professional
• Ready for winter use: During the winter service, you tackle the problem according to pikett planning and ensure that roads remain safe and passable.
• Design and care for green oases: They take care of the professional care and the cutting of trees, shrubs and green areas so that everything blossoms in full glory
• Security comes first: By signaling construction sites correctly, you ensure that everything runs smoothly and safely.

What you bring

• Completed craftsmanship training as a specialist for maintenance, road builders, masons, horticulturalists, forest keepers or similar
• Driving licence category CE and, in the best case, experience with wiping machine
• High personal responsibility with flair for craft work
• For the winter and pikett service a car and residence in the region is a requirement (maximum 30 minutes)
• Joy at working outdoors

From green maintenance to winter service, from the redesign of local transits to innovative traffic management and the planning of new, safe and environmentally compatible transport facilities – in the civil engineering department we ensure the construction, maintenance and operation of the over 1'150 km long cantonal road network as well as the expansion of the more than 950 km velorout network.
