The geriatric psychiatric services SRO AG guarantee regional, community-based and patient-oriented psychiatric care.
We offer comprehensive geriatric psychiatric diagnostics and therapy for those aged 65 and over.
This includes outpatient consultation hours, a day clinic and consultative support for the Langenthal Hospital Center and regional retirement and nursing homes.

Key requirements
- Requirements:
- You are in further training to become a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy.
- The position is also particularly suitable as a year abroad for general practitioners or for (re-)starters from other specialist medical disciplines.
- You bring personal responsibility and the willingness to collaborate across departments and to participate in the on-call service.
- You have very good written and spoken German skills at level C1.

- You carry out integrative geriatric psychiatric and psychological therapies.
- You will work in an interdisciplinary manner in the neuropsychiatric clarification of brain disorders as well as behavioral or personality changes.
- If you are interested, you will be involved in the treatment of treatment-resistant depression (especially esketamine treatment) and carry out home visits in regional institutions.
- As part of the Geriatric Psychiatry Oberaargau network, you will work closely with geriatric psychiatric nurses, the internal social service, general practitioners, the Spitex as well as retirement and nursing homes in the region.
