Applications must be submitted in writing with an application letter, a short curriculum vitae and a recently issued (not older than one year) penal and enforcement record.

For a complete application, you must complete and submit the official application form on the website of the Judicial Council.

Assistants hold a secondary judicial office and have judicial decision-making powers (Art. 4 JG). They shall be drawn up as required by the authority concerned. The attendants receive session allowance in accordance with Art. 79a JR. Members are elected by the Grand Council on the opinion of the Judiciary Council. The Judicial Council advertises the judicial offices for the Grand Council (Art. 12 JG).

• Sufficient time availability (daytime sessions)

• Voting rights in cantonal matters. Foreign nationals must hold a residence permit and have been resident in the canton for at least five years. There must be no loss certificates against the person. You must not have been convicted of acts incompatible with the judicial office

• Mastering the German language with good knowledge of the French language
