- This is a one-year fixed-term contract which may be extended to 3 years (funded by SNF) Lab Description : The Pharmacology Unit of the Faculty of Science and Medicine at the University of Fribourg investigates molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying metabolic and redox signaling in health and disease.
- The Zuhra Group focuses on the biology of endogenously produced cyanide, exploring its role as a novel gasotransmitter and its impact on cellular metabolism and cell signaling ( www.unifr.ch/med/en/research/group/zuhra/ ). What we offer:
- Diploma (CFC / BSc or equivalent) in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology or a related field (experience in cancer research would be considered a plus)

- Experienced and motivated laboratory technician to support our research with 3-5 years of proven work experience with basic biochemical and molecular biology techniques (solution preparation, measuring pH, doing Western blots, cell culture, etc).
- Experience with in vivo model (mice, rats).
- FELASA accreditation category B (EU functions A, C, D) or Swiss equivalent i.e. Module1/LTK1 needed
