We are looking for a committed and influential Site EHS Manager to lead and develop our Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) strategy at our Sierre site.
As a key member of the site leadership team , you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe, compliant, and high-performing workplace while supporting the plant’s ambition of zero incidents . Your role:
You are the EHS leader and expert on site, responsible for driving a strong safety culture and ensuring full compliance with legal and corporate EHS requirements.
You work closely with the Plant Director and operational teams to balance daily operational needs with long-term EHS strategy, ensuring sustainable performance and risk prevention. Your responsibilities : EHS Strategy & Compliance
Define and implement the site EHS strategy aligned with business objectives together with your team of experts
Ensure full compliance with Swiss regulations, ISO standards, and corporate policies
Lead audits and ensure timely closure of findings Safety Culture & Prevention

Drive a strong behavior-based safety culture (BBS) across the organization
Promote proactive reporting (near misses, incidents) and continuous learning
Lead awareness programs, trainings, and shopfloor engagement initiatives Operational Support
Support daily plant operations with EHS expertise and decision-making
Coordinate with stakeholders across Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and HR
Participate in Gemba walks and leadership tours to ensure field presence Continuous Improvement Establish KPIs and monitor EHS performance
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in line with Lean / operational excellence principles Stakeholder & External Relations
Act as the main point of contact with authorities, regulatory bodies, and local stakeholders
Maintain strong relationships with Works Council and internal governance bodies Data, Reporting & Governance
Ensure accurate reporting of EHS data and performance indicators
