Based in Swiss Re's Zurich office, this comprehensive role places you at the heart of our Property & Casualty claims activity for the Mediterranean and Middle East markets.

You'll be both a technical anchor and a market-facing ambassador — analysing complex claims, building and nurturing key client relationships, and contributing to the strategic direction of our portfolio across these dynamic and diverse regions.

This is a role for someone who loves the depth of claims work and the breadth of market engagement.

Analyse and assess claims from both quantum and liability perspectives, reviewing presentations from original policy and reinsurance angles — driving sound outcomes that protect Swiss Re's and clients' bottom lines.

Analyse and assess claims from both quantum and liability perspectives, reviewing presentations from original policy and reinsurance angles — driving sound outcomes that protect Swiss Re's and clients' bottom lines.
Lead the monitoring and development of claims and portfolios under your responsibility, processing claims in line with defined workflows, systems, and guidelines while ensuring full adherence to established processes.
Build and expand your market network — representing Swiss Re in relevant professional bodies and cultivating relationships with clients, attorneys and loss adjusters across the Mediterranean and Middle East regions
Promote Swiss Re's technical claims expertise and profile in the market, with a particular focus on Key Clients, reinforcing our reputation as a trusted and knowledgeable partner.
Maintain and deepen client relationships in line with the principle of right service for the right clients, contributing to thought-leading internal networks that amplify client impact.
Monitor and report on legal developments and other relevant changes across the Mediterranean and Middle East markets and your claims portfolio, keeping the business informed and agile.
Actively contribute to cross-functional market teams (XFT) , supporting underwriters with your insights and helping to shape market strategy and enhance portfolio profitability.
Support the development and promotion of products and solutions tailored to insurance market needs, contributing to Swiss Re's growth agenda.
Plan and conduct claims reviews and audits , coordinating with clients on remedial actions to continuously raise profitability of the portfolio and enhance claims handling standards. About the Team
