- Perform motor dimensioning, work point calculation, and simulation

- Lead drive concept evaluation, including different actor and sensor types, transmission, and initialization procedures
- Perform motor dimensioning, work point calculation, and simulation
- Review and refine robotic and automation concepts
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software/system architects
- Develop and improve internal control tools and processes
- Lead root cause investigations and risk assessments
- Mentor and coach engineers, apprentices, trainees, and students
- Initiate collaborations with academia and external partners
- Ensure compliance with processes, SOPs, directives, and guidelines
- Contribute to the system-wide platform strategy Your background

- In this challenging and impactful role, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and testing advanced drive chain concepts and sensing applications for existing- and our next-generation robotic and automation platforms.
- You will lead the evaluation, collaborate closely with the embedded software, mechanical and electrical specialists, and ensure the performance, reliability, and robustness of our solutions.
- As a technical mentor and coach, you will support and guide other engineers, contribute to cross-project consistency, and drive continuous improvement in our processes and best practices.
