The Sensor Technician is a technical contributor within the Machine-Readable Features Laboratory, supporting the assembly, integration, testing, and maintenance of advanced sensor systems used for machine-readable authentication and traceability solutions.
The role covers a broad range of hands-on technical activities including PCB assembly, soldering, wiring, electro-mechanical integration, sensor assembly, troubleshooting, and laboratory support.
Working closely with electronics engineers, software engineers, optics specialists, chemists, and scientists, the Sensor Technician contributes to the construction and validation of prototypes, demonstrators, and industrial sensor systems.

- Federal VET Diploma in Electronics (Electronicien CFC) or equivalent technical qualification.
Responsabilités principales

- Assemble and integrate electronic and electro-mechanical components for sensor prototypes and production systems.
- Perform manual soldering and rework of PCBs, electronic boards, connectors, cables, and fine-pitch components.
- Wire and cable sensors, test benches, electronic subsystems, and laboratory equipment according to schematics and technical documentation.
- Perform functional verification, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic assemblies and sensor systems.
- Execute testing procedures, collect results, and report findings to development teams.
- Support inventory management of electronic components, cables, consumables, and laboratory equipment.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety rules and quality processes. Education & Experience
- Initial professional experience in electronics assembly, wiring, or laboratory environments Technical Skills
- Strong practical skills in manual soldering of electronic components and PCB assemblies.
