Mission
The Program Director / Scientific Programme Lead is responsible for the scientific coordination, implementation and day-to-day management of the Genome of Switzerland (GoS) programme.

- Coordinate the scientific and operational implementation, future development and national scale-up of the Genome of Switzerland programme.

- Coordinate the scientific and operational implementation, future development and national scale-up of the Genome of Switzerland programme.
- Support the PI/Academic Director(s) in defining scientific priorities and programme strategy.
- Coordinate activities across participating institutions and project stakeholders.
- Oversee the generation, quality control and analysis of genomic datasets.
- Supervise project bioinformaticians and data analysts.
- Coordinate interactions with national and international initiatives, including Genome of Europe and related genomic data-sharing infrastructures.
- Contribute to data governance, ethics, regulatory and data-sharing activities.
- Prepare scientific reports, presentations and project deliverables.

- Contribute to publications, grant applications and future programme development.
- Represent the programme in relevant scientific, technical and stakeholder meetings. Profile
- PhD in genetics, genomics, bioinformatics, molecular biology or a related field.
- Proven experience in large-scale human genomics and population genomics projects.
- Strong scientific track record demonstrated through peer-reviewed publications and international collaborations.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects involving academic, clinical, technical and institutional stakeholders.
- Knowledge of genomic data governance, ethics, regulatory frameworks and controlled-access data sharing.
- Experience with national and international precision medicine initiatives and genomic infrastructures.
