Mission The Chair of Technology and Operations Management (TOM) at the College of Management is offering a full-time PhD student position within the EPFL doctoral school program.
Our research targets problems that arise in product assortment optimization, omni-channel inventory management, inventory theory, and demand forecasting.
We also address challenges in supply chain resilience and sustainability modeling, and supply network design.

- Research in close collaboration with industry partners
- Co-supervision of student projects and basic administrative support Profile
- An excellent Master's level degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics or Computer Science
- A strong mathematical background and a sincere interest in business-related topics
- Proficiency in English, strong team spirit, independence and a high level of motivation for academic research work motivated by relevant practical problems We offer
