Zurich is currently looking for a Pricing Actuary or Senior Actuarial Analyst II to join National Accounts and work out of our Chicago Office.
This colleague will support and work alongside the market facing underwriting teams in our Domestic Casualty unit, as well as supporting other Business Unit initiatives.
Through this collaborative, cross functional business partnership, the National Accounts Pricing team improves the financial understanding and performance of accounts within the regions and enhances the quality of technical underwriting, decision making and risk selection.

- This colleague will support and work alongside the market facing underwriting teams in our Domestic Casualty unit, as well as supporting other Business Unit initiatives.

- In this individual contributor role, you will work independently on account pricing as well as lead more complex analytical work. Examples of this include:
- Partnering with regional business leaders and underwriters on both transactional and strategic account decisions; most notably by providing actuarial calculations, including: Risk transfer analysis
- Large complex loss forecasts and unique rating plan structure Large account collateral needs
- The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant’s experience and skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this position. Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Mathematics/Statistics or Actuarial Sciences and 5 or more years of experience in the Actuarial area
- ACAS or equivalent international certification Senior Actuarial Analyst II:
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including Associates Degree
- 5 or more years of experience in the Actuarial area plus FCAS or equivalent international certification
- 10 or more years of experience in the Actuarial area plus ACAS or equivalent international certification Remote Working: Hybrid Schedule: Full Time Employment Sponsorship Offered: No
