Introduction

You will ensure the availability and reliability of CERN's cryogenic installations by providing daily technical support, maintaining industrial instrumentation systems and diagnosing complex electrical faults.

You will also contribute to the design and optimisation of low-voltage electrical cabinets and components, in compliance with electrical safety standards. Functions

  • Technical certificate or general secondary education or equivalent relevant experience in the field of Industrial Electrotechnics, Electrical and Instrumentation Technology, Electromechanics or a related field.
  • Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance and in maintaining technical documentation and procedures. Technical competencies:
  • Operation and maintenance of electromechanical equipment and systems.
  • Knowledge and application of instrumentation and measurement techniques, ideally in a process or cryogenic environment. Behavioural competencies:
  • Learning and Sharing Knowledge: sharing knowledge and expertise freely and willingly with others; coaching others to ensure knowledge transfer.
  • Spoken and written English or French, with a commitment to learn the other language. Eligibility and closing date:
