The Zurich University Veterinary Hospital is a leader in the field of veterinary medicine. Every day, it makes a comprehensive patient-oriented contribution to the care of sick and injured animals from all over Switzerland and nearby abroad. Immediately or by agreement, we are looking for a committed and active personality as a veterinary assistant: in nursing surgery.
Tasks
You are interested in working in a warm and productive team. They enjoy learning new things and appreciate the care of hospitalized patients. This important position in a modern environment includes the following tasks:
- Care and care of hospitalized patients in shift operation incl. Weekend, late and night service on an appropriate scale
- Assistance in treatments and patient clarifications
- Close cooperation with the veterinarians of the Clinic for Small Animal Surgery
- Operational cooperation
Profile
To strengthen our teams, we want a motivated person who meets the following requirements:
- Completed veterinary training
Practical assistant*
- Social skills, dialogue skills and motivation skills
- Very good observation and empathy
- Have fun working in a team
- Enjoying a good quality of work in small animal surgery or small animal medicine
- High sense of responsibility
- Interest in your own further development
