60% - 80% | Legal / Compliance | Zurich | Experienced professionals In the Private Customers / Private Banking business unit, you as a compliance officer ensure that regulatory requirements are consistently adhered to. With your expertise, you support the sales units in the Zurich economic area and help to identify and minimize risks at an early stage. You take on responsibility, develop professionally and make an important contribution to the stability and reputation of the Zürcher Kantonalbank. Your tasks

• Assume the role of first point of contact for all compliance issues in the field of private banking, including Private Banking International, eVV and private banking
• Control and monitor business relationships with regard to risky persons, KYC requirements and conspicuous transactions
• Examination of new customers during onboarding in material and formal terms (in particular VSB, KYC data)
• Assessing and classifying customer structures from the perspective of anti-money laundering
• Preparation and forwarding of reports on suspicion of breaches of anti-money laundering and terrorist financing rules to the Money Laundering Specialist Office
• Advising, accompanying and schooling the sales units on relevant compliance issues
• Collaboration in cross-divisional projects with a focus on compliance and regulatory topics

Your profile

• Completed university degree in law or equivalent education or training with a focus on money laundering / compliance
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar function in the compliance area of a bank as well as sound practice in dealing with VSB and GwG topics
• In-depth knowledge of anti-money laundering, KYC processes and banking-specific regulatory requirements
• You distinguish yourself through networked, holistic thinking as well as an addressee-oriented communication ability
• You also work on complex issues in a structured, independent and careful manner
• Your pronounced willingness to take responsibility and enjoyment of various tasks round off your profile
• Very good knowledge of German in word and writing, good knowledge of English is an advantage
