Full description
The Security Department (SIA) ensures the security police and parts of the criminal police basic care and in this context ensures public safety and order in the city of Zurich around the clock. In addition to covering the emergency call management, it also has a preventive task. For the district guards and the Revierpolizei Nord, we are looking for motivated personnel for Revierpolizei.
Tasks
- Addressing the concerns, questions and needs of the district population in accordance with the basic principles of citizen-oriented police work
- Active territorial activity in the assigned area of responsibility
- Acceptance and reporting of security and criminal police reports (assignments of the operation centre / display / desk service)
- Sporadic assignments outside regular business hours in connection with short-term events, seasonal problems or major events (if OD is mandatory, also OD assignments)
- Possibility (voluntary) if necessary for sporadic assignments within a shift service replacing in patrol service with patrol cars
Profile
- Completed police training and good knowledge of basic police services
- Initiative and communicative personality with high personal responsibility and teamwork
- Exemplary appearance and behavior as well as a special flair in dealing with the neighbourhood population
- Good knowledge of German and IT users (especially POLIS knowledge)
- Experience as a group leader in the order service is advantageous
