The Department of Nature Conservation is the office responsible for nature conservation and biodiversity in the Canton of Zurich in the Office for Landscape and Nature of the Building Directorate. • Cooperation in various areas of nature conservation (e.g. species protection, biotope upgrades, area maintenance, protection and construction project assessments)
• Independent processing of projects (e.g. guidelines, protective measures, care plans and public relations)
• Participation in meetings and visits with municipalities, farmers and authorities
• Writing of opinions and decisions on projects
