Get to know the entire spectrum of government processes – from building applications to under-protection positions to contribution transactions.
Active participation in the contact points of monument protection, modern building development and administrative practice.

The Office for Spatial Development (ARE) is the cantonal specialist for spatial planning, geoinformation and cultural property conservation.
It contributes to the promotion of the location quality of the living and economic area of Zurich and creates the conditions for attractive settlement and landscape areas.
