Canton of Zurich Directorate of Justice and Home Affairs Imprisonment and Reintegration Trainee in Project & Quality Management 80 - Get to know 100% Imprisonment and help shape enforcement practice? Imprisonment and Reintegration (JuWe), as part of the Directorate of Justice and Home Affairs of the Canton of Zurich, is responsible for the execution of penalties and measures as well as the implementation of the various types of detention. For our 1,400 employees from around 40 professions, the successful social reintegration of people who have committed crimes, the prevention of recidivism and the detention and preparation of the departure of persons without a valid residence permit are of particular importance. The Zurich Prisons Department (VEZ) – one of JuWe’s eight main departments – comprises four institutions with different types of detention. In total, more than 300 detainees are cared for. With its specialist services, the management supports the institutions in fulfilling their legal mandate. For the project and quality management in the staff of the VEZ, we are looking for a reliable, empathetic and team-capable person on 15.02.2027 or by appointment for an internship, who is willing to contribute creatively to ongoing projects and the further development of everyday life processes. This is your field of action

• Cooperation in day-to-day operations and in the further development of quality management, including the creation and revision of QM documents and the processing of digital QM tickets from our facilities
• Cooperation in the further development of risk management and its integration into quality management as well as assistance in the planning, implementation and documentation of workshops
• Support for the initialisation, implementation and documentation of internal and external development projects in the management and attached facilities
• In consultation with the supervisor independent implementation of smaller workshops or support of working groups on process topics as well as safety-relevant and practical issues
• Support in reporting to departments, departments and authorities as well as in digitization projects, preparation of literature reviews and short reports You bring that with you
• You are about to complete your master’s degree or have successfully completed your bachelor’s degree, ideally with a psychological and/or sociological background
• You bring with you initial experience in project or quality management, possibly even in research and work methodology as well as with digitization topics
• First professional experience is desired
• You are IT-affine and work safely with the common MS-Office programs
• Knowledge of data evaluation and QM software (e.g. Visio) is an advantage
• Analytical thinking and a structured way of working are among your strengths and you like to bring your own ideas and creative thinking approaches
• You are an empathetic personality who openly deals with different target groups and have good knowledge of German and English This is the special thing about the place
