You are interested in working in a warm and productive team. You enjoy learning new things. This specialized position offers a central role in the organization and patient care within the department of soft tissue and tumor surgery:
Tasks
- Coordination and planning of interventions and special investigations
- Carrying out the cancer prevention and follow-up consultation under medical supervision
- Support for clinical studies in the field of tumour surgery (patient inclusion, scheduling, supervision of studies)
- Interface management between tumor surgery, oncology, pathology, anesthesia, imaging, departments and reception
- Documentation of patient data and communication with pet owners and assigning veterinarians
- Maintaining the database for tumor patients
- Participation and organisation in interdisciplinary tumor boards
- Active participation in the design of efficient clinical processes
Profile
- Completed training as veterinary practice assistant
- Training as a VASTA or experience in performing simple anesthesias
- Experience or interest in surgery/oncology and clinical organisation
- Strong organisational skills and enjoyment of appointment coordination
- Interest in Clinical Research
- High motivation, flexibility and resilience in a dynamic environment
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working method
- Teamwork, social skills and service-oriented thinking
- Very good knowledge of German, English skills are advantageous
