Canton of Zurich Financial Directorate Tax Office Test Manager /-in temporary 12 months 100% Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! Together with the municipal tax offices, the cantonal tax office collects taxes for the Confederation, the canton and the municipalities. We support individuals and businesses throughout the tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the Zurich Altstetten site. As a test manager, you have a central responsibility in our change process. Our services support more than 2,500 municipal and cantonal employees every day as well as more than one million individuals and companies with the tax declaration. Our specialist applications are developed by suppliers and integrated and operated by us. In order to strengthen our test management team, we are looking for a temporary helper who will take on a task with sustainable importance for the Canton of Zurich for 12 months from the entry date. If necessary, it is possible to extend the employment or to change to a permanent position. Your tasks

• In your role, you are responsible for test management when adjusting your assigned applications.
• You analyze individual software adaptations and develop the test concept and test planning from them.
• You coordinate the resources involved in testing (test tracks, data, accounts and tools), assist in creating and executing manual E2E test cases, and create consolidated test reports.
• You work closely with release management, application managers and specialists from the specialist departments. You represent the Release Manager during his absences.
• You use about 20% of your working time to control the operation of our test management and ticket systems vis-à-vis our providers.
• With your colleagues, you optimize the processes in test, release and deployment management. Your profile
• You have in-depth professional experience in a comparable role and find a quick entry into your new environment.
• You have a further degree in computer science. Certifications such as ITIL® or ISTQB are beneficial.
• You will find your way in a team in transition and are motivated to actively develop yourself and your colleagues.
• You work structured and act responsibly.
• You know how to lead your colleagues laterally.
