Main responsibilities
- You will work in an animal shelter in Zurich North.
- This primarily cares for dogs, cats, rabbits, small mammals, birds and reptiles that are temporarily in the care of the veterinary office.
- You ensure the well-being of these animals through correct feeding and care and ensure that they are adequately occupied.
- In addition to direct animal care, there are other tasks related to animal care: administrative work on the computer, cleaning and disinfection of the accommodation, storage management and environmental work at the location.
- You will also work at the cantonal foundling registration office, where you will check reports from the Swiss Animal Registration Center (STMZ) and initiate the necessary measures.
- You are flexible and used to working in a structured and independent manner, but also in a team, and processing data using computers.
- You enjoy taking on responsibility and working in a small, well-coordinated team suits you.
