Canton of Zurich Education Directorate Cantonal School Zurich Oberland Physics Laboratory*in 80% The Cantonal School Zürcher Oberland (KZO) in Wetzikon is a lively school that values an open culture, shared commitment and an inspiring learning environment. In currently 60 classes, she leads a gymnasium secondary level (9th/10th school year) and all Zurich maturity profiles. With around 1300 students, 200 teachers and 40 employees in administration and operations, the KZO is one of the major high schools in the canton. For the Department of Physics with 10 teachers, we are looking for a physics laboratory (80%) as of 1 April 2027. Your responsibilities:
- Assistance for physical work
- Supervision of the physical equipment collection
- Maintenance, repair and new manufacture of equipment
- Setting up and dismantling experiments for teaching
- Acquisition and provision of educational materials
- Completion of administrative work for the department Our expectations:
- Vocational apprenticeship as a physics laboratory technician or in the field of mechanics, electronics, metal (e.g. electronics technician, mechanic, automatist)
