For our team in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced and versatile personality with a sound understanding of technology and a strong security background. In this role, you shape and strengthen the governance for information, technology and cyber resilience throughout the Vontobel Group – across all locations and companies.

Your tasks with us

• Implementation and operation of automated technology and cyber risk processes based on governance, risk and compliance frameworks.
• Put the technology and cyber security control framework into practice and ensure its effective application.
• Operating and continuously developing the company-wide business continuity program.
• Coordination and management of operational incidents, including regulatory audits, audits and implementation of measures to address identified vulnerabilities.
• Optimization of internal and external service provision with focus on efficiency, quality, resilience and reliability.
• Review of IT infrastructures, data flows, processes and operations against established standards of efficiency, accuracy, security and risk mitigation.
• Close cooperation with technology, business and relevant control functions to effectively manage technology risks, dependencies, critical services and regulatory obligations.

This is what they bring with them.

• Completed studies in computer science, information technology, cyber security, risk management or a comparable field, and at least three years of professional experience in a similar capacity.
• In-depth understanding of IT architectures, IT frameworks, IT processes, IT control standards and current trends and best practices.
• Creative and innovative thinking and the willingness to critically question traditional security approaches.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think both strategically and operationally.
• Experience in a regulated environment, preferably in the financial services sector (FINMA, DORA, SEC, etc.).
• Very good communication skills and a safe appearance. They build trusting relationships at all organizational levels and work successfully with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
• Interest in artificial intelligence (AI) as well as the willingness to actively use AI-supported tools and modern ways of working.

The position is currently based in Zurich. In 2030, the workplace will be moved to Baar to further strengthen cooperation with key stakeholders in the business.
