- Technical clarification of materials, drawings, specifications and engineering changes in close cooperation with engineering and suppliers
- Support and coordination of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) activities, initial sampling and supplier qualifications
- Conduct of technical assessments of alternative materials, requests for derogation and cases of obsolescence
- Close cooperation with strategic and operational purchasing on material and supplier-related issues
