Canton of Zurich Economic Directorate Office of Labor Team leader Qualification for job seekers 80 - 100% Which courses really help job seekers get ahead? How do we design accompanying measures that have our finger on the pulse of the labor market? What do people who are looking to get back into working life need? We actively address these questions in the area of ​​qualification for job seekers (QuS). Together with external partners, we develop and coordinate a tailor-made range of measures so that job seekers can make their way into the world of work stronger. As of November 1, 2026 or by agreement, we are looking for you as a committed leader to lead one of our three product teams. Your main tasks include:

• Personal and technical management of a team of 5 employees
• Active participation in the strategic development of the department as a member of the QuS management team
• Professional guidance and support for employees in the conception, further development and control of the range of labor market measures
• Control and overall responsibility for the team's budget and resources
• Overarching responsibility for tendering and award procedures
• Management of projects as well as maintenance and further development of collaboration with internal and external stakeholders For this role you have the following profile:
• University degree in a relevant discipline
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in a comparable function or environment, e.g. education, work integration, public administration, non-profit, etc.
• Proven conceptual and business thinking and working methods
• Interest in labor market policy issues
• Experience in project management or project cycle management
• Experience in public procurement an advantage
• Strong negotiation skills and strong communication skills
• Integrative, resilient and solution-oriented personality
