Role overview
As Team Lead of Team "Blofeld", one of our Finance Teams in the Order Management Area, you lead a team of skilled and passionate Software Engineers.
You own the realm of "Accounts Payables" - where several million supplier invoices flow through automated pipelines each year, keeping DG's relationships with hundreds of providers running smoothly and its books clean.

- Close collaboration with the team, the Product Owner, and the Software Architect ensures shared success
- More than 5 years of experience: In software development
- Completed degree (university / university of applied science / higher technical college): In computer science or a related field
Main responsibilities

- As an Engineering Team Lead, you are hands-on in the design and engineering of innovative solutions (our Engineering Team Leads write code too)
- Your technical expertise and leadership instinct contribute to a motivating working environment
Key requirements
- More than 5 years of experience: In software development
- Completed degree (university / university of applied science / higher technical college): In computer science or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role
- Excellent skills in Software Engineering - ideally gained in the context of event-driven, distributed systems at scale. Experience with C# and Python is a plus
- Experience in agile software engineering and DevOps (CI/CD, automation, configuration management, and deployment tools)
- Ideally, you have experience integrating LLMs/VLMs in your solutions that solve real business problems.
- You've also invested in evaluating those solutions, proving correctness and surfacing metrics relevant to business stakeholders
- Solid SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (and bonus point if you’re familiar with Google BigQuery)
