In this newly created function, you assume the technical and personnel responsibility for an internationally stationed team. With your team, you ensure the final assembly of systems in customer countries. They realize production at international locations from the conception of the supply chain to professional assembly and customer acceptance. In addition, your team together with production specialists will carry out the contractually owed transfer of knowledge and technology to customers. You are the central point of contact for production outside the parent plants. They report to the Line Organization Operations. You will assume the following specific tasks:

• Technical and personnel management of the team
• Planning and conception of assembly and commissioning at production sites in customer countries (supply chain / logistics, infrastructure, processes, personnel requirements, etc.)
• Implementation of assembly and commissioning at production sites in customer countries (supply chain / logistics, infrastructure, processes, personnel requirements, etc.)
• Training and guidance of customer personnel in the assembly, integration and commissioning of our systems
• Ensuring the fulfilment of contractual offset obligations through documented knowledge and technology transfer
• Coordination of operational and travel planning including export control and security clearances
• Quality assurance of the systems assembled and put into service at the customer
• Documentation of the training and assignments carried out as proof to the customer and authorities
• Ensuring compliance with export control, secrecy and security requirements abroad
• Support in the further development of training and training concepts for customer assembly as well as in the elaboration of offset programs in the offer process WHAT YOU SHOULD TEACH
• Completed technical apprenticeship or study (e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, systems engineering) or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the assembly, commissioning or maintenance of complex technical systems, ideally in the defence or industrial environment
• Experience in the professional and personnel management of teams
• Experience in training and guidance of technical staff, ideally on site at the customer
• Knowledge of export control, secrecy and travel security requirements is advantageous
• Strong communication, negotiation and conflict resolution competence
• Intercultural competence, teamwork, willingness to cooperate and emotional intelligence
• High comprehension, pragmatism, flexibility, initiative, resilience and care
• Strong focus on results and performance as well as implementation capability
• Good MS Office skills; SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Negotiable knowledge of German and English
