- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education
- Several years of work and leadership experience in the machinery or rail vehicle industry Knowledge of electrical drive technology
Main responsibilities
- Disciplinary and professional leadership of approximately 12 employees
- Development of employees within their work areas and roles
- Continuous improvement of development processes and methods in the department at the St. Margrethen site and across locations
- Continuous optimization of work processes and interdepartmental collaboration
- Responsibility for task planning with a focus on quality, deadlines, and costs
- Catalyst for standardization and innovation in the department
- Design and layout of electrical drive systems (e.g. pantographs, power electronics, transformers, motors, energy storage)
- Evaluation of electromagnetic protection measures to minimize identified electromagnetic risks
- Conducting calculations and simulations on energy consumption and travel time of our vehicles to optimize the drive concept PROFILE
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education
Key requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education
- Several years of work and leadership experience in the machinery or rail vehicle industry Knowledge of electrical drive technology
- First experiences in the field of electromagnetic protection
- Good understanding of electromagnetic fields and interactions
- Interest in power electronics and high-voltage technology
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in German and English at level C1 in speaking and writing
