Canton of Zurich Financial Directorate Human Resources Develop your talent - exciting legal internship in Human Resources and Labour Law 80 - 100% 6-12 months from December 2026 or by agreement The Human Resources Office of the Canton of Zurich is the competence center for all personnel, labour and social security issues of the more than 30,000 employees of the Canton of Zurich as well as many public institutions and municipalities. The Personnel Law Department of the Personnel Office is decisively responsible for the interpretation and further development of cantonal personnel law. Would you like to put your previous theoretical knowledge into practice and get a real insight into the world of personnel law in Switzerland’s most economically powerful canton? If you are willing to take the plunge from the lecture hall into practice and actively apply your legal knowledge, then you are in the right place with us! Your tasks:
- Your legal knowledge is not only used on paper. Because you actively and practically provide legal information on personnel law issues.
- Work hand in hand with experienced lawyers and bring your knowledge into in-depth clarifications of special questions.
- Take responsibility for the maintenance of our internal knowledge database, which is used daily by a large number of HR specialists in the canton.
- Be an important part of the handling of recourse cases and actively support the implementation of training in personnel law. This is what you bring with you:
- You will have a keen interest in administrative law and a degree in law (MLaw).
- While initial practical work experience and knowledge of labour and human resources law are beneficial, we are also open to motivated graduates who want to put their theoretical knowledge into practice.
