The Center for Integrative Oncology (ZIO) offers a holistic assessment, treatment and care concept for patients with tumor and blood diseases. Patients are looked after individually in a trusting atmosphere by an interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses and therapists. Diagnostic and therapy strategies are designed according to the latest findings and discussed in detail with the patients. As part of Integrative Oncology, we combine modern oncological therapies with complementary medicine at the locations in Zurich, Winterthur, Richterswil and Glarus.

Students:r Nutritionist:in - Additional Module B/C - 60-80 %
Their tasks
- Accompanied and independent nutrition therapy for oncological patients in our day clinics, mainly in Zurich.
- Accompanied and in the course of independent nutritional advice in various specialist areas.
- Participation in and design of group courses and workshops
- Revision and redesign of advisory documents
- Scientific research and development of team inputs on current nutrition topics
- Malnutrition screening at our day clinic
Your profile
- Successfully completed BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics in search of a 5-12 month internship for the final internship.
- Knowledge of nutritional therapy in oncological patients including enteral and parenteral nutrition. Advantage of an internship in stationary setting
- Openness and interest in naturopathic topics as well as integrative therapy procedures
- Readiness for reliability and flexibility to work at different locations (Winterthur, Zurich, Richterswil)
- Enjoyment in the consulting activity and a reliable and independent working method are required
