Role overview

• Take responsibility for the production of fungal and viral inocules in sufficient quantities and quality for pre-breeding • Develop, adapt and implement protocols for characterization, isolation and multiplication of pathogenic agents • Support the scientific direction of pathology/pre-breeding in the implementation of projects relating to wheat diseases, particularly in the infection and annotation of wheat varieties under the selection programme • Provide assistance in molecular labelling to track disease resistance genes / characterize fungal isolated • Regularly curate and multiply the collections of plants and mushrooms for their long-term preservation • Technique/a with AFC in a technical or equivalent sector, with great motivation and experience in the field of phytopathology (a higher education at a specialized university school is a preferential qualification) • Excellent technical skills in phytopathogenic management • Ability to work in different environments (field, greenhouse, laboratory) • Experienced in molecular biology • Positive person, performance oriented and equipped with team spirit • Excellent knowledge of two official languages and oral and written English
