For the tree care group of the Nord region in the division Park and green areas, room Oerlikon we are looking for a specialist tree protection.
Tasks
- They accompany, define and monitor protective measures of trees and green areas in the area of responsibility of Grün Stadt Zürich in construction projects or renovations
- They support the districts in the assigned region as well as the tree care teams in the respective region on issues related to tree protection
- They actively participate in specialist working and specialist groups around the topic of trees and impart knowledge to internal and external service providers.
- They take part in construction meetings and represent the interests of GSZ, in particular on the subject of trees
- You are the contact person for internal and external entrepreneurs around tree protection
Profile
- Completed training as a gardenerin EFZ, forest managern EFZ and further training as a tree inspectorin FFL/tree care practitionerin/tree care specialist* or comparable training or the willingness to train in this area
- Several years of professional experience in tree care / tree control, in horticultural maintenance as well as in-depth knowledge of wood and plants, in particular of tree species
- Self-employment, sense of responsibility, enforcement, reliability and service orientation
- Solution-oriented personality with good negotiating skills
- Driving licence Cat B, MS Office knowledge, lifting platform operator test of advantage
