WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Ensuring stable, highly available and performant database operations
- Implementation and continuous development of backup, recovery and disaster recovery strategies
- Identification and resolution of bottlenecks at the CPU, memory, IO, blocking and deadlock levels
- Further development of database architectures, standards and operational processes
- Introduction and maintenance of monitoring, security and automation solutions
- 2nd/3rd level support for database-critical issues
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
- Completed IT training, a degree in information science or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the administration and operation of Microsoft SQL Server environments
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and a sound understanding of the SQL Server engine
- Experience in performance tuning, high availability, backup and recovery
- Know-how in monitoring, automation and scripting in the database environment
- Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working approach
- High quality and security orientation as well as strong personal responsibility
- Good German and English language skills in written and spoken form
