We are looking for reinforcements for the School Campus Glattal from 19 October 2026 or by appointment.
Tasks
- Employment level 58%, 16 weekly lessons at secondary level I
- Subjects: Mathematics (MA), Nature and Technology (NT), Elective SOL
- Planning, preparation and implementation of lessons based on the curriculum and follow-up and evaluation of lessons
- Advising pupils on individual learning and performance difficulties as well as showing funding opportunities
- Collaboration in the college, with school management, external specialist bodies and guardians
Profile
- Teaching diploma for secondary school I, recognised in Switzerland
- Enjoy teaching with students from different cultures
- Strong skills in classroom management
- Willingness and motivation to work in an integrated setting, together with curative teachers and assistants
- Interest in working in the midday care and willingness to support the common school culture
- Positive basic attitude, teamwork, resilience, enthusiasm and serenity in dealing with new things and uncertainties

About us
We are a large school community in Zurich-Nord with 19 schools. We derive our pedagogical attitude from the concept of New Authority and thus meet the daily challenges in everyday school life together and effectively. At secondary schools, teachers teach in the teaching sequences of self-organized learning (SOL) level-mixed. The Schulhaus Campus Glattal introduces the “FreiDay” learning format in addition to the SOL for the school year 2026/27. The focus of our school and teaching development lies in the areas of resource orientation and promotion of self-responsible and cooperative learning.
The day school Campus Glattal started operation with 4 secondary classes at the beginning of the 2022/23 school year and grew to 16 secondary classes in the 2024/25 school year. The day school Campus Glattal has its own kitchen and rooms for the lunchtime care of all students. Teachers have the opportunity to work in the midday care at most once a week. We attach great importance to the cooperation of the entire school staff and to a holistic view and support of the young people.
